Prior to founding Mondopoint, Jim worked for BD Diagnostics where he was a Diagnostic Account Executive. Jim managed the sales strategy for a portfolio of consumables and capital equipment instruments across a strategic territory of clinical laboratory departments, including microbiology, molecular, and virology. His sales leadership resulted in the first North American customer for the company’s Kiestra Total Lab Automation Equipment.
Jim began his career working for the Medical Products & Services division of Cardinal Health. As he moved through roles of increasing responsibility, he significantly exceeded the goals set forth in each of his positions, which culminated in his being awarded the Cardinal Health Champion’s Club. This achievement represents consistent, exemplary performance over a minimum 6 year period. Jim’s core business philosophy revolves around customer collaboration and consultation to build innovative healthcare solutions.
For over 10 years, Jim has been closely involved in the operational efforts at multiple acute care hospitals and reference laboratories to assess thousands of new products and technologies. He has helped these provider organizations understand their supply decisions in the complete context of cost, quality, and outcomes. By modeling competing products’ differentiators and total cost of ownership, Jim has helped many organizations understand the impact their product purchasing decisions have on patient care and the bottom line.
Jim holds a B.S. in Marketing from Marquette University.
